About Stone
I’m a passionate high school business teacher with a strong belief in the power of real-world experience to shape students' understanding. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University and am currently pursuing my Master’s in Educational Leadership. In addition to teaching, I also own and operate American Spas, a business where we sell and maintain spas. Running my own business has provided me with invaluable hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, financial management, marketing, and customer relations—all of which I bring directly into my classroom. I believe that connecting classroom theory to real-life situations helps students understand the practical applications of what they’re learning. Teaching is more than a job to me; it's a passion. I love helping students gain skills they can use right away, whether it’s budgeting, managing finances, or understanding how businesses operate. I’m committed to guiding students on their journey, both academically and in preparing them for success in the real world.
