About Илья

I moved to Britain because of the war, but I've come to love the culture and values that this country offers each day. Throughout my entire life before the war, I lived in Russia and worked as a marketer, helping people understand how the businesses I promoted could improve their lives and make them happy.

Now, through my lessons, I'm able to help people understand what Russian culture is all about. I enjoy teaching them about how people live, what they breathe, and what they think about. Each lesson is like a deep dive into the language because it's the only way to truly learn and understand its hidden meanings.

I believe that learning a language is more than just learning vocabulary and grammar. It's about understanding the culture and people behind the language. That's why I always make sure to incorporate cultural insights and historical events into my lessons. I want my students to have a full picture of what it means to speak Russian and what it means to be a part of Russian culture.

About the lesson

Once a friend of mine reached out to me and asked if I could speak with him only in Russian because he wanted to learn Russian literature. I was happy to help him and started teaching him Russian.

We spent a lot of time together practicing Russian and discussing various Russian literary works. As he learned more about the language and culture, he became fascinated by the richness of Russian literature and its influence on world culture.

Eventually, we decided to take a trip to Moscow to experience Russian culture firsthand. We explored the city, visited museums, and attended cultural events.

During his time in Moscow, my friend met the love of his life and fell deeply in love with both the culture and the people. He continued to study Russian and became fluent in the language. His passion for Russian literature only grew stronger, and he began to write his own stories and poetry in Russian.

In the end, our shared interest in Russian literature brought us closer together, and my friend's love for Russian culture changed his life forever.
