About Roseanna

My name is Roseanna and I am a London and Cambridgeshire based Performance and Confidence Coach. I hold a First Class BA Hons Degree in Acting, training at both Rose Bruford and ALRA South. Working in the industry for four years, I have experienced the highs and lows of the auditioning process, and have gained valuable insight into what is needed to sustain a successful career in the Arts.

The industry can be a scary - but very exciting place. I am here to help make your life as a performer as supported as possible.

I am a warm, patient and enthusiastic coach who is genuinely passionate about both performance and helping others achieve their goals. I have a strong ability to identify each student’s unique strengths, and I firmly believe that everyone has something distinctive to offer. My role is to help you find that individuality and bring it confidently into your work.

I have come to realise that my true desire comes from helping others discover their potential, nurturing talent and delivering support with warmth and inspiration. I always aim to encourage a sense of “playing” during my sessions, where failing and trying new things are welcomed.

My coaching is personalised and tailored to exactly what you need, but where my speciality lies is that I will help you become confident in your ability, with a strong sense of self belief and a “I can be anything” approach. That your brilliant ideas have value and worth. That is where I believe the real performer in you lies, and that I what I was strive to help you unlock.

Whether you are looking for help with Public Speaking, Industry Advice, or help with finding your own personal brand, I will create a space for you to feel creative, supported and empowered.

About the lesson

HOW I CAN HELP:

Drama School Preparation -
I know how daunting Drama School auditions can be, so I strive to provide a supportive environment, with honest feedback and plenty of encouragement.

During our sessions together, we can work on:

Selecting Classical and Contemporary monologues that make you POP.

Creating truthful, authentic performances.

Interview preparation, with LOTS of mock audition practise.

My goal is to help you walk into the room feeling confident, prepared and ready to do your best work.

Audition and Self Tape Coaching -
Auditions can feel really exciting, nerve-wracking and at times, a little overwhelming; especially when we feel in our bones that we NEED that role. I can offer sessions that help take that pressure off of the self tapes, to help make you feel confident, grounded and settled in your choices.

In our sessions, I can include:

Script and character work.

Making an impression in the room.

Advice on self tape structure and choices.

Children’s Acting and Confidence Coaching -
I offer fun, supportive coaching for children who love to perform, want to explore acting and it’s many wonders, or children who would benefit from building some confidence and communication skills. Whether you would like advice on how to get your child into the industry, or whether you would like to bring them out of their shell at school, I will ensure that I can help in any way that I can.

I can offer:

Industry advice; including agencies, casting thoughts, headshots, and any questions you have for me.

Help with monologues for auditions, finding age-appropriate material.

Confidence building exercises

Plenty of encouragement, support, fun and NO PRESSURE!

NOTE FOR PARENTS: I hold a full, enhanced DBS Check on the Government Update Service. Please ask me for evidence whenever you like.

Professional Acting Support -
Leaving drama school and suddenly entering the industry can feel really scary and at times, isolating. With nobody to tell you that you are doing well, to keep going and to give you honest advice. I am here to be your support blanket. To help with any queries on auditioning, agents, casting directors, headshots, making your own work, Spotlight profiles!

During our sessions we can look at anything from:

Working on any material that you are currently looking at (showreels, auditions etc).

Talking through agent meetings, applications and industry emails.

Refreshing and strengthening your Spotlight profile.

Create practical and realistic next steps to help you feel more grounded and in control of your budding career!
