About Abdullah

Abdullah is an award-winning RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant and MArch graduate from the Architectural Association (AA) in London with 2+ years of professional experience spanning concept design, technical development, urban planning, and strategic consulting. He has contributed to large-scale architectural projects in both the UK and the Middle East, including high-profile healthcare and residential developments, with expertise in design communication, bidding strategies, and spatial planning. Alongside practicing, Abdullah has tutored students across A-Level, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels—both in the UK and internationally. His students have successfully strengthened their university applications, refined final-year design projects, and developed impactful portfolios for graduate roles. Through a mix of design coaching, visual storytelling, and strategic feedback, Abdullah helps students confidently bridge the gap between academia and industry. He also offers professional mentoring, including CV reviews, portfolio development for internships and jobs, and interview preparation for early-career architects. With a deep understanding of both academic standards and industry expectations, Abdullah brings clarity, structure, and practical insight to every session. During his time at the AA, Abdullah completed a range of research-led and design-intensive projects, from adaptive reuse and coastal resilience to high-rise typologies and strategic urban interventions. His final thesis proposed a visionary framework for integrating natural assets—such as forests, rivers, and coastlines—into real estate systems, reimagining property development through ecological value. This work, along with other academic projects, earned multiple High Pass distinctions and explored themes such as land regeneration in Iraq, sandstorm mitigation in Baghdad, and the future of climate-adaptive cities.

Technical Drawing & 3D Visualization Master tools like AutoCAD, Rhino, Grasshopper, Revit, GIS, and Twinmotion to communicate your ideas with clarity and professionalism. 4. Sustainability & Environmental Strategy Learn how to embed ecological thinking and resilience into your design briefs, with real-world applications in architecture and urbanism. 5. Urban Planning & Spatial Strategy Understand how to develop large-scale frameworks, spatial organization, and site-specific urban design responses. 6. Design Storytelling & Visual Communication Strengthen your ability to express design ideas through impactful diagrams, drawings, and narrative techniques. 7. Professional Coaching & Career Preparation From CV and portfolio reviews to interview prep and job applications — I support students aiming to enter architectural practice with confidence.
