About Kimia
My name is Kimia and I am currently completing a Masters in History at LSE. I am passionate about teaching and inspiring confidence in my students, so they fully feel safe and comfortable in asking critical questions and engaging with content fully. I have completed English at both GCSE and A level, and as a History student, I have developed my skills in comprehension and critical analysis further. I aim to relay the skills I have learnt to students and improve their familiarity with exam boards/comprehension, oral and writing skills.

I believe that if a student enjoys what they learn, they are more likely to practice and develop further on skills and content that have been taught. I, therefore, aim to personalise lessons to each student, and to use a range of learning techniques, such as quizzes and interactive powerpoints, to help students retain information and enjoy what they are learning. My lesson lengths are usually an hour (this can be negotiable) and I can teach English at all levels (GCSE, A levels, for non-English speakers, and those wanting to engage more with literary classics and fiction).
