About Ryan
As a credentialed teacher, I have taught 1st, 6th and 8th grade, all subject matter. I have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience and develop personalized lesson plans based on each student's individual skillset. The goal is to achieve mastery for each topic my students need assistance with. I empower my students to work through challenges and find solutions when there isn't a tutor near.

My approach is to provide real world scenarios to boost student engagement. Students provide the specific topic they are struggling with and I develop a personalized lesson beforehand. I prefer to teach middle school math (ideally 6th grade, since I have taught this and am very familiar with the standards). Preparation is everything in the tutor world, so my students can expect a thorough lesson with multiple opportunities to check for mastery.
