About Nicolas
Hi! My name is Nicolas, and I am a recent university graduate. I was born in Spain, but have always learnt in a British education system, and both Spanish and English are completely native languages to me. At school, geography was my favourite subject, and one which I steadily got better at over the years. So I have experienced being a not-so-good geography student and, later in my A-levels, a very good one! I want to help other fellow student geographers to learn this wonderful and curious subject, and to become familiar with the simple but specific methods that are needed for obtaining a high grade!

My approach is through mixed methods, by teaching the necessary content and ensuring that the student can apply this context affectively for an exam format, through methods such as flashcards and past papers.
My lessons would are anywhere between 30mins to 1 hour.
I have worked as a tutor before for GCSE students, however I am much more specialised in A Level content. I shall be well apt for teaching any A-level geography students.
My lessons generally follow a format of:
1. Remembering the previous lesson, and ensuring the context of the current content we are going to cover is understood.
2. Running through the essential parts of the topic, including case studies.
3. Ensuring that the student takes away effective notes (personalised to what works best for them) in anticipation for exams. This will help make their revision straightforward.
