About Marina
My name is Marina, and I hold a Master's of Research degree in Ecology, Evolution and Conservation from Imperial College London and a Bachelor's degree in Geography from the University of Lisbon, Portugal. My passion lies in helping students understand the natural world and the complex interactions between people and their environment. Throughout my studies, I've developed a strong interest in conservation ecology, particularly Antarctic vegetation. This focus has allowed me to conduct fieldwork in Antarctica and I'm currently applying for PhD positions to continue my research in polar ecosystems. I offer tutoring across ecology, geography, and environmental science. This includes topics such as ecosystem management, biodiversity, conservation, population dynamics, physical and human geography, environmental systems, climate change, sustainability, and natural resource management. I primarily work with students from primary school age to GCSEs, and A-Levels. Whether you're struggling with specific topics, preparing for exams, or simply want to deepen your understanding, I'm here to make learning engaging and effective. My goal is to help you not just pass exams, but truly grasp the concepts so you can apply them confidently.
