About Karl
My name is Karl and I grew up in southwest England in a half-English half-Estonian family. During my first years of secondary school (after moving back to the UK from Estonia) I struggled with my vocabulary, grammar, writing and general knowledge. Because of this, I required extra lessons at school. Due to the excellent level of tutoring I received, I ended up from being at the bottom of the pile to achieving one of the best sets of GCSE results at school. I would therefore like to pass these tutor skills down to the younger generation.

The lesson structure would involve looking at the student's most recent homework after it has been marked by the teacher. In analysing the homework, we would be looking at the main points raised by the teacher and partly re-write the essay by re-structuring it and ensuring that each paragraph contains the PEE format (as not using this rule is usually the reason why students lose marks). Each sentence in the re-written essay will be colour-coded based on whether the sentence is point, evidence or explanation.
