About Jack
I am a dedicated and approachable English tutor with previous experience helping students strengthen their reading, writing, and communication skills. I am currently completing my Master’s degree at the University of Windsor, where I have also gained experience providing academic support to students at different levels.
I understand that English can be challenging for many students, whether it is essay writing, reading comprehension, grammar, or simply building confidence in the classroom. My goal is to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills at their own pace.
I take pride in being patient, professional, and adaptable in every lesson. I tailor my teaching style to each student’s individual needs and focus on making learning engaging, practical, and easy to understand. I also place a strong emphasis on helping students become more confident and independent learners, not just improving grades in the short term.
Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, improving academic writing, strengthening reading comprehension, or building overall confidence in English, I am committed to helping them succeed through clear guidance, consistent support, and positive encouragement.

I am an experienced English tutor with a strong background in helping students improve their reading comprehension, writing skills, and overall confidence in English. My tutoring approach is supportive, engaging, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals.
My teaching methodology focuses on building both understanding and confidence. I believe students learn best through active participation, clear explanations, and consistent practice. Depending on the student’s needs, I use techniques such as guided reading, vocabulary development, essay planning, editing exercises, grammar instruction, and reading comprehension strategies. I also help students strengthen critical thinking and communication skills that are essential for academic success.
A typical lesson begins with identifying the student’s current challenges or goals. From there, we work through targeted exercises together, whether that involves reading passages, improving sentence structure, developing essays, practicing grammar, or analyzing texts. I like to provide constructive feedback throughout lessons and end sessions with a brief review of key concepts and areas for improvement.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my ability to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment while still challenging students to improve. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to fit their pace, strengths, and academic level. My previous tutoring experience has allowed me to work with students who struggle with reading and writing confidence, and I take pride in helping them make noticeable progress.
My lessons are suitable for elementary, high school, college, and university students, as well as anyone looking to improve their English reading, writing, grammar, essay skills, or overall communication abilities.
