About Maliheh
I am called an English language teacher, instructor, tutor; however, I believe I am just a more experienced friend taking the role of a facilitator, mentor, motivator and and learner of course in my classes to make sure everyone is doing an active participation and making the most of every single class. My rich academic background in addition to over 15 years spending on language education and exploring various students in diverse societies and cultures with different mindset has given me a great insight when facing any new student(s) or even a challenging educational circumstances. For optimizing the lesson income and making the class an enjoyable experience, I love and need to make a rather stronger bond with my students than merely a teacher-learner relationship in an authoritative setting.

I basically employ what is known as communicative language teaching in my classes with a great focus on real-life language use, interactive activities, and meaningful communication in the classroom.
The classes I run generally begins with a quick attention grabber and warm up; we move on to the new lesson introduction using visuals, realia, etc.; then the target language is presented in a context-rich manner to be practiced by plenty of interactive activities (pair or group work, role plays,...) and tasks (information gap, simulation,...); we do freer practice for some authentic communication opportunities; I do wrap up to summarize the keywords and preview the the upcoming class topic.
I have unwavering passion to interact with and involve my students in class regardless of their ages or proficiency levels; as much as I enjoy teaching, I am a faithful learner from every single opportunity in my career.
Regarding general English proficiency, I have extensive experience working with various ages and levels; I also instructed IELTS, TOEIC , and business English.
