About Kori
I started teaching myself piano in 7th grade and have since attended Berklee College of Music (music theory), New England Conservatory (composition), Oberlin Conservatory (music history), Oxford University (music history), and am currently a masters student in historical musicology at McGill University.

My lessons vary a bit depending on the student's goals! I believe there are many ways to fill your life with music, so I usually try to cater to whatever sparks my student's passion. For example, my nephew found his practice pieces a little boring so I wrote him a new book of practice pieces using melodies from his favorite TV shows!
I am very very steeped in music academia so my lessons can be as theory heavy and high-leveled as you feel comfortable with. As for piano level, I have been playing for 15 years but only have 3 years of formal lessons so I am comfortable teaching beginner to intermediate level piano only.
