About Thomas
I am a graduate student at Valparaiso University, and currently have a double major in Mathematics and Statistics. I have tutored in person for a year and have switched to online tutoring for about 6 months. The students I tutor tend to be really happy with their grades; they feel that they make progress during my sessions.

My main approach is to initially ask questions to the student to get a sense of their understanding of the material and problems they are working on. Throughout the problems, I make sure that my students are comfortable with asking any questions they have until they fully understand the problem. Most people have the same questions, so no one should be uncomfortable asking questions because they are not alone.
