About Natalie
Observation is the first step toward technical improvement. You will feel the exact tension in your bow arm as we align your posture for better resonance. I explain the mechanics of spiccato and staccato bowing to ensure you understand how the weight of your hand affects the string. We track your progress through scales and arpeggios to build necessary left hand agility and strength.
Each student receives free bowing and posture reference notes after every lesson to clarify what we addressed in the studio. I provide these resources so you can check your own form during independent practice sessions. My goal is to see you perform with total technical confidence.

Violin began as my primary focus at the Conservatoire during my early formative years. Music is a physical discipline.
I spent 13 years refining my own technique before shifting my energy toward guiding others through the rigors of the instrument. My teaching background spans from young children to advanced learners who seek a more nuanced interpretation of the repertoire. I hold a BMus degree that informs the technical precision I bring to every session.
My studio has served 214 students who needed to stabilize their posture or refine their shifting positions. I maintain a cultured studio atmosphere where detail and patience are the standard. I find great satisfaction in seeing a student finally master a difficult passage.
