About Bronwen

I am a graduate of the UHI (University of the Highlands and Islands) from the BA (Hons) Applied music course.
I have been a member of the Scottish band 'Rhuvaal' since 2018 which has opened up opportunities playing at music festivals and events all over the country and even overseas in Italy.
On top of this I have been a member of various pipe bands since 2012 which has also taken me all over the world including, Barcelona and New York Tartan Day parade. I was part of the Isle of Islay drum corps winning Grade 2 UK drumming champions 2019. I have taught the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland through their trainee tutor programme from 2023-2024.

Traditional music is my passion and throughout the years I have had tuition from multiple different tutors, all of which I have gained invaluable lessons from.

About the lesson

I have vast experience in teaching 1:1 lessons and group lessons of all ages and abilities.
I strive to find the ideal teaching methods tailored to each student in order to get the most out of lessons.
I am passionate about Scottish traditional music and teaching this genre.
Students wishing to have lessons should have an idea on areas which they wish to improve on and we can tailor a plan order to gain the most out of lessons. I can offer 30 minute lessons and 1 hour lessons depending on what works best and what the student would find more beneficial.

I am a friendly, enthusiastic tutor who is looking to expand my private teaching portfolio.
