About Zoe

I graduated with an IB diploma and an Ontario Scholar Award. Furthermore, I received a 6 in all my IB subjects, including English and Math (Scores range from 1-7). I have over 3 years of experience tutoring to students of all skill levels, both online and in-person. I enjoy reading and writing in my free time, and have worked as a judge for a book of collected poetry from children and teens: "Urban Voices".

About the lesson

I focus on fostering both an encouraging and academically rigorous learning environment. Within classes, I take the time to be in tune with my student's needs, often adjusting my approach in order to ensure my student understands. I am able to create a positive learning environment and a good and understanding relationship between me and the students. Nevertheless, I also stress the importance of academic perseverance and independence. I believe that a student must struggle with a question by themselves first in order to facilitate understanding. My goal is to guide students into better equipped, self-sufficient learners.
