About Christina

My name is Christina and I graduated from Sefton High school in 2021 ranking in the top 15 in all of my subjects at a selective school. I scored 97.70 in my NSW HSC as an All-rounder. I have 4 years of teaching experience as an English Tutor (Yr 7-12) and legal studies (Yr 11-12). I love being a tutor because I want to make a positive impact in someone's life and give them support and guidance through their final high school years which is daunting and full of uncertainty and challenges. Becoming a tutor will allow me to pass on my current knowledge and assist someone to succeed as I did as the best way to achieve something is to follow in the footsteps of someone who has already succeeded. I believe every student has potential and it all comes down to reigniting a flame and inspiring them to do the best they possible can and I want to be someone students can depend on as a tutor and support network.

About the lesson

I am looking to teach students aged 15-18 from any academic ability. Lessons will go for 2 hours with flexible scheduling. As a tutor I will deconstruct the Preliminary and HSC syllabus which can be daunting as it is overwhelming and go through context carefully, elaborating on dot points where HSC students lose marks or struggle to understand. Since I graduated in 2021 I know the syllabus and marking criteria that will help students excel. I also have a strong English background which is vital in constructing answers in PDHPE allowing you to be concise whilst being awarded the maximum amount of marks. I will also offer my notes and full mark sample responses as well as mark any responses a student may need.
