About Mahan
I am a fresh graduate who is looking into the next step in graduate school. My friends would say I am a good listener, and I like to make up interesting stories to explain anything. I believe making stories up keeps the topic interesting and memorable. I am always fascinated by gut microbes. Something about their ability to be so resilient and how they affect our bodies (through sickness and health) makes them so cool. I am highly interested in researching more about their potential, as part of my further education.

The first few classes would be learning about what concepts stick out to you, what bothers you, and what kind of teacher (in class) are we dealing with. Next would be focusing on making plans for post-tutoring sessions to address those concerns. How could we make sure that the lessons will stick to the very end. The lessons after that would be focusing on your initial knowledge and understanding of the concept, and then making a drawing board to connect them to the course. A lot of it involves listening to what makes the topic difficult to understand, and then focusing on making it easier for you, or making a strategic plan to make sure you won't stumble on them the next time around
