Graduated from University of Wisconsin La Crosse Clown Camp Program 1993, also performed in Royal Hanneford Circus in 1996 & 97. I've also mentored other clowns.

Our initial free session will be talking to get to know you, and I will be looking for signs of your inner clown as we talk. I might ask you to walk for me or do other exercises. I work intuitively but with years of practical application behind it. My hourly fees cover not just the time I spend with you 1-on-1 exploring different aspects to your clown, but time I spend before we meet in the research and resources I gather and supplies such as makeup, or costume bits or props I need to bring with me. As well as travel expenses. I help you immerse yourself and I may even schedule events for you to get your feet wet as a new "Joey" or greenhorn. A Joey is the nickname for all clowns after the father of modern clowning Joseph Grimaldi. There will be days we will work on physicality and movement and I need to prepare mentally, emotionally and physically to bring the professionalism. This takes time and energy. Online I will send you resources randomly and consistently. I will be thinking about you even when not working directly with you.
