About Melissa

I am a passionate teacher, and I love mathematics and chinese since I was young. I also love children and I believe that every kid has the potential to learn given the right way of learning. Everyone is unique and talented so I will teach with love in mind of making you improve your grades! Dont be despair if you do not do well now, as you are able to score, you will want to do better and better each time! Must have fun learning! :)

About the lesson

I Scored A for PSLE and O levels. Been teaching since 2015
Will see what is required for the kid to understand the concepts. Will prepare notes for conceptual knowledge. Will focus on assessments and test papers. Previously taught at PSLEmath/oodles learning/ kumon/ math nugget
Weak students gain confidence through my teachings. Taught a p6 girl this year, she showed interest in continuing with me in the secondary level. 1 Secondary 2 student came to me with WA3 17/30, scored 64 in end of year exam in just 2 months. 1 Secondary 3 student who scored single digit in WA3 scored 46% in 2 months. Degree majored in mathematics and economics. Students passed in PSLE Math, will continue to engage me for her secondary level math
Secondary 1 student who got AL 7 in PSLE passed math with B
Taught students from primary 1 to secondary 4 for math
Can produce results for all levels. Able to teach NT/NA/Express students
Currently a secondary 3 math student who is struggling can understand my teaching when she does not understand what the school teacher is teaching.
