I met Sara through a mutual friend here in London, and it happened that my boyfriend was looking for Italian 1-to-1 lessons, as we’re planning to spend a couple of months in Italy this summer. He needed at least a basic grammar and essential vocabulary. We weren’t expecting fluency, of course, but in just 2-3 months, he was able to understand conversations and express himself pretty clearly, which is surprising to see as a complete beginner.
