About Maximus
I am a new English teacher aiming to build my skills to be more versatile at teaching. I have a university education where I learned a variety of advanced English skills such as academic writing, skimming and scanning complicated texts, referencing sources and navigating academic hardships with a neurodiverse brain.
Even though I don't have a degree specific in teaching, I completed my 150 hour Teaching English as a Foreign Language course where I was given the chance to learn and practice skills and techniques for teaching English to people of various speaking levels, ages and backgrounds.
I also have professional and academic training for working with individuals who have a diverse style of learning. For example I worked as a Behavior Interventionist for 2 years where I was required to serve as a secondary learning aid to children with Autism.

I am new to teaching English, however I am open and qualified to teach nearly anyone.
My greatest strengths in teaching are the English basics, poetry, creative writing and academic preparation.
My vibrant personality, ADHD brain, and intriguing life experiences separate me from your average teacher. I therefore use these skills to build classes that are fascinating and helpful for any student no matter their cultural background or learning style.
