About Zula
Beginner and intermediate players often sit in my studio struggling with clunky chord transitions before we smooth them out. These 9 years of teaching have taught me that 200 students appreciate a mix of technical rigor and humor while they work through ear training or barre chords. I spent 13 years gigging in Toronto and Montreal and hold a BM Contemporary Music degree from Humber.
My teaching style remains loose but structured under the surface, so expect to laugh as we tackle the heavy theory. You will find that I keep things straightforward while helping you navigate electric technique and instrument maintenance.

Metallic strings vibrating against wood creates a sound that marks the start of a productive hour spent refining your strumming patterns. Because I focus on the RCM Popular Guitar syllabus, we keep a steady pace that feels like a jam session with a purpose.
My students get a 10.0 out of 10 experience because I provide a monthly recorded review of progress to ensure you see your own growth. We spend time on rhythm guitar and ear training so you can actually hear the music you play. You leave the room knowing exactly what to practice until next time, just playing along.
