For those preparing for grade exams, I provide a structured path that keeps you on target for your performance goals. Our sessions are grounded in my years of experience, incorporating monthly recorded review of progress to ensure you actually see your growth.
You will get comfortable with power chords and improvisation through direct observation of your playing style. I often stop to demonstrate a specific movement, making sure you see how the physics of the guitar works in practice. This keeps things grounded and avoids the confusion of abstract theory alone. It is a pleasure to help you refine your craft.

Why do so many players hit a plateau after they learn the basic chords? Teaching provides the perfect platform for me to pass on the technical rigor I gained during my degree.
Over 7 years of experience, I have guided 416 students through the nuances of scales, modes, and ear training. My background as a first-gen musician informs my perspective on how to bridge the gap between theory and raw performance. I love working with professionals who need to refine their rhythm guitar or master acoustic techniques. My teaching style is hands-on and remarkably patient when things get tricky.
