Music is meant to be felt before it is analyzed. Just start with a simple chord and let the rhythm take over from there. I rely on my degree to keep our sessions grounded in real musical understanding. Adults and professionals often need a direct path to the fretboard.
13 years of experience ensure we do not waste time on fluff. We focus on blues progressions and technique to get you playing comfortably. You will love hearing your progress after just a few weeks. It is quite fun to see a song come together from scratch.

Having guided 444 students over 13 years, I have seen how a solid foundation in music theory transforms a player. My BA in music from UQAM helps me connect the dots between folk styles and electric technique. I take pride in turning your favorite song requests into simplified arrangements that match your actual ability.
It is about building a bridge between the music you hear and the music you make. My personal narrative includes years of helping folks find their own sound, whether they are self-taught or looking for structure. It is really just about playing what you love.
