About Reina

Years ago I sat staring at chord diagrams that made no sense. The explanations I needed were nowhere to be found. That frustration pushed me to get a Certificate in Music Business at Selkirk College so I could break down the music myself.

I teach kids between 10 and 14 because they are at the perfect age for real growth. I handle barre chords, songwriting, and lead guitar with patience.

Scales, modes, and reading tabs are just tools for the job. Rhythm guitar, power chords, and strumming patterns come next. We also work on reading sheet music. It is just about getting you to independence.

About the lesson

I do not rush to cover material. Finishing one thing matters more than skimming through ten.

My 9.0 rating reflects this slow and steady pace. We focus on one specific thing to try before the next session.

This approach comes from my degree training. Simple explanations rule the day. I want you to feel confident picking up the instrument. See you in the practice room.
