About Victoria
The smell of old wood and the hum of an amplifier define a good practice space. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home without needing a band. This lets you apply the techniques we discuss while you are away from our sessions. Having 13 years of experience means I can quickly identify why a riff feels stiff.
We fix the tension. Then we move on to something more expressive. That feeling of locking into a groove is what makes this work fun.

Most people think playing guitar is about speed, but I found my footing by focusing on the space between the notes. After 13 years of playing folk venues, I have realized that the best technical players are the ones who listen well.
My work with 156 students has shown me that hobbyists and busy professionals often struggle to find a sound that is truly their own. I focus on scales and modes to help you understand the fretboard on your own terms. By teaching you how to maintain your instrument, I ensure you have fewer headaches down the road.
Working with adults allows me to skip the fluff and get right to the music. I love helping people bridge the gap between their ears and their fingers. It is a pleasure to help you find your voice on the neck of the guitar
