About Alyssa
My passion for guitar began through a fascination with how music can connect people and communicate emotions. This interest inspired me to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Music and later a Master’s Degree in Contemporary Guitar Studies. During my 8 years of teaching experience, I have helped students build strong skills and lasting confidence.
I believe every learner progresses best when lessons are supportive and adapted to their needs. My teaching style combines clear explanations, practical exercises, and encouragement. I enjoy helping students overcome challenges while discovering their musical strengths.
Outside teaching, I spend time performing, exploring different genres, and studying new musical ideas. These experiences help me keep lessons engaging and relevant. Helping students achieve meaningful progress through music remains one of the most rewarding parts of my career.

My guitar lessons focus on helping students become comfortable and confident musicians through practical learning and consistent improvement. We work on chord changes, rhythm patterns, picking control, strumming accuracy, fretboard navigation, and timing skills using engaging exercises and real musical examples. Every lesson is structured to make progress clear and achievable.
As students continue developing, we explore fingerstyle playing, melodic phrasing, improvisation, ear training, songwriting techniques, tone development, and performance preparation. Lessons are adapted to individual goals and musical interests so learners can enjoy a personalized experience. Regular guidance helps students build both technical skill and musical understanding.
I believe guitar learning should be enjoyable, motivating, and rewarding. My goal is to help students develop confidence in their playing while encouraging creative expression. Every lesson supports long-term musical growth and independent learning.
