About Jacqueline
Music is essentially about finding the right rhythm, and sometimes that rhythm is just a bit off at the start. Since I earned my BA in Music, I lean heavily on theory to keep our sessions from becoming repetitive or aimless. We look at reading tabs and internalizing scales so you can play with actual confidence. Every single month I provide a recorded review of your progress so you can track how far you have come.
This creates a clear map for us to follow throughout our time together. I prioritize hands-on practice over long lectures about history or abstract concepts. You will find that my methods are direct and always aimed at getting your hands moving on the fretboard. Give it a try if you want a clear path forward.

Returning players often find that they have hit a wall after years of playing on their own. I admit that I started my own path with just a few chords and a lot of messy practice habits. These 7 years of teaching have allowed me to support 179 students as they move beyond basic power chords. I understand the frustration of self-taught guitarists who want more technical depth.
Improvisation and soloing become much easier when you stop guessing and start using modes. My approach focuses on lead guitar and ear training so you can actually hear what you play. I keep the energy high because I know how much work goes into mastering barre chords. It is honest work, but we make it fun.
