About Larry
I began playing music in an orchestra setting when I was 9 years old by playing a melodica (a wind operated piano style instrument), progressed to violin, trumpet, clarinet and at 16 years of age began conducting the orchestra and writing music score.
At age 12 I began learning guitar and it has remained my main instrument of choice for many years.
While I played in bands for many years I began playing professionally at 21 years of age and did so for several years while also teaching beginner guitar students.
I always found teaching to be very rewarding whether it was a young student that wanted to learn to read music and apply it to the guitar or an older individual who for years had wanted to learn to entertain themselves but life got in the way.
I consider my self to be a patient teacher who allows the student and their abilities to set the course study.
I look forward to hearing from you and we can discuss a plan moving forward.

My plan is to teach beginner students of any age how to read music and apply that to the guitar or if a student only wishes to learn guitar chords for the express purpose of entertaining themselves.
In essence you choose your program of learning and I will adapt to your desired course objectives if possible.
Once your level of music knowledge is established together we will develop a plan for continued learning.
