About Mira
I am a Guitar tutor with nine years of teaching experience working with students of all ages and skill levels. My teaching style emphasizes clarity, engagement, and practical application, making guitar learning enjoyable and easy to understand. I focus on building strong fundamentals through demonstrations, guided practice, and performance-based learning to help students connect technique with musical expression.
Students develop strong skills in chords, strumming patterns, fingerstyle techniques, scales, improvisation, music theory, and genre-specific playing styles. My lessons encourage creativity, discipline, and musical confidence as learners explore songs, develop technique, and refine their performance abilities.
I personalize teaching based on each learner’s pace, goals, and musical interests. Continuous feedback, interactive exercises, and repertoire-based learning ensure steady progress, confidence, and strong technical development. Students work on real-world applications such as live performance, songwriting, recording projects, and collaborative music-making.

My Guitar lessons begin with foundational skills such as proper posture, hand positioning, chord progressions, strumming patterns, rhythm, and basic music theory. I connect these concepts to real-world musical applications, helping students build confidence through practical playing and hands-on learning.
I cover advanced areas including fingerstyle techniques, lead guitar, improvisation, scales, music theory, songwriting, and genre-specific styles such as rock, blues, jazz, classical, and acoustic guitar. Students learn how different techniques and musical concepts work together to create expressive and dynamic performances.
A strong focus is placed on musical understanding, technical development, and creative expression. Learners practice chord transitions, picking techniques, timing, and performance skills through step-by-step guidance and structured exercises. Clear demonstrations help students gain confidence in both practice and live playing situations.
Real-world applications such as performing songs, composing original music, collaborating with other musicians, and preparing for recitals or recordings are integrated into lessons to show the practical value of guitar skills.
Interactive exercises, guided practice, and performance-based learning encourage creativity and independent growth. My goal is to help students not only learn guitar but also think like musicians, developing strong technical abilities, musical confidence, and a lifelong passion for playing.
