About Miledys
# A Little About Me… ¡Mucho Gusto!
Born in the USA with Cuban roots and a little Caribbean sazón! As the first-generation daughter of Cuban refugee parents, Spanish was my first language. At just 5 years old, I had to learn English, so trust me, I know what it's like to navigate two languages and two cultures!
Now, I'm bringing that experience, my Cuban flavor, and a little mystery into the classroom. Expect laughter, cultural gems, real conversations, and maybe a few Cuban expressions you won't find in your textbook!
My mission? To make learning Spanish feel less like homework and more like chatting with an old friend over a cafecito.
