About Christiane

I am a German native speaker and moved to England 19 years ago. I am based in Dover and live here with my husband and my two teenage kids. I remember too well the stress of GCSE as my son sat them last year. I like to teach German at affordable prices because I believe everyone deserves the chance to some tutoring for good results. I graduated in Germany with a Bachelor's degree in modern German literature and Media and work part-time as a tour guide for the cruise terminal in Dover.

About the lesson

I like an immersive approach and use the internet to go on little fact-finding excursions to Germany. What do they call a pineapple for example? - let's visit a German Onlineshop and find out or learn to bake a pretzel. Of course, I cater for the school curriculum as well (aqa/Edexcel/educas) A level and GCSE and have students from age 7 to 70.
