About Saeid

I am a handpan teacher with over ten years of teaching experience, working with students from beginner to advanced levels. My approach focuses on sound awareness, rhythm, and musical expression rather than memorization. I adapt each lesson to the student’s goals, helping them develop both solid technique and a personal musical voice

About the lesson

In my handpan teaching approach, the focus is on developing a deep understanding of the instrument, sound, and rhythm—not just memorizing patterns.
Lessons start from a complete beginner level, covering proper posture, hand position, basic striking techniques, and sound control. Gradually, we move into combining rhythms and melodies, working on dynamics, and shaping musical phrases.
Throughout the learning process, students are encouraged to connect with their body and emotions to discover their own musical voice on the handpan. Exercises are tailored to each student’s level and goals, with equal attention given to technique, musicality, flow, and personal expression.
My goal is not only to help students play beautiful pieces, but also to guide them toward a free, creative, and expressive understanding of handpan music.
