About Dogukan

Hello, I'm Doğukan. I hold a degree in Industrial Engineering and currently work as a Production Planning Engineer at a private company. I have been actively developing projects and teaching Excel for 5 years.

As an Industrial Engineer, I fully understand the critical importance of accurate data analysis and process optimization. I bring this analytical, problem-solving mindset directly into my Excel training sessions.

My primary goal in this training is not just to have you memorize menus and formulas. Instead, I want to show you how to use an engineering approach to complete tasks that usually take hours in your professional life or projects in a much more practical and error-free way.

Whether you are starting Excel from absolute scratch or looking to advance your existing skills, I tailor our lesson plan entirely to your personal goals and learning pace. By the end of our sessions, you will be able to manage your own spreadsheets and data analyses independently and at a professional level.

FIRST LESSON FREE
In the first lesson, we get to know each other, talk about your Excel level and goals, and draw up a lesson plan that suits you. Then we start on the first topic, so you can try a lesson before you decide.

HOW THE LESSONS WORK
• A personalized plan: Before we start, I assess your current Excel level and what you need Excel for (work, school, job interviews, etc.), and create a personalized lesson roadmap around your needs and goals.

• Hands-on, at your own pace: Lessons take place online through screen sharing. After I explain each new formula or tool, I guide you as you solve the examples yourself during the lesson. We never skip a topic until you have fully understood it.

• Video recordings: Every lesson is recorded, so you can rewatch it whenever you like to reinforce what you have learned.

• Around 300 practice files: You get lifetime access through Google Drive to the Excel files we solve together in the lessons and the ones prepared for you to practice afterwards.

• Lesson days and times: We schedule the lessons together to fit both of our calendars. Lessons can be held on weekdays, usually after 7 pm, and all day at weekends .

LESSON LEVELS
The training has three levels: beginner, intermediate and advanced. Each level also covers the topics of the one before it, so the training always starts with the basics. Even if you have never used Excel, you can start right away.

• Beginner (approx. 10–15 lessons): The Excel interface and data entry, writing formulas, locking cell references, formatting tables, essential shortcuts, SUM, AVERAGE, MIN, MAX, IF and VLOOKUP.

• Intermediate (approx. 20–25 lessons): Text, date and number functions, COUNTIF, SUMIFS, IFERROR, XLOOKUP, Excel tables, filtering and sorting, conditional formatting, data validation, pivot tables and charts.

• Advanced (approx. 35–40 lessons): Building dashboards, automating tasks with macros, projects such as timesheets and inventory tracking, Goal Seek, Data Table, Solver, and sheet and workbook protection.
Lesson counts are averages and may vary with your learning pace. Each lesson lasts 60 minutes.

WHAT YOU NEED
A computer (Windows or Mac) with Excel installed and an internet connection. Lessons are held on Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. Excel 2016 is the minimum; Excel 2021 or Microsoft 365 is recommended. Lessons are not held on a phone or tablet.

LANGUAGE
All lessons can be taught in English, including Excel’s English terminology and function names.
