About Alessio

I am Alessio De Grandis, an italian 30 years old boy; I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and a Master’s degree in Sciences and Techniques of Preventive and Adapted Phisical Activities.
Since I was a child, I have had a great passion for this sport, which together with determination, perseverance, commitment have allowed me to have a very long competitive career as a player. Then I felt the need to transmit the love and knowledge for football to children: this desire was also born from my experience as an educator within schools, where I worked for two years in Bologna (Italy).
And this is all that pushed me to undertake a career as a coach: I am passionate about working with young athletes and helping them reach their full potential. I take great pride in seeing them improve and succeed.
In recent years I have carried out this work at various youth football clubs, where I had the opportunity to contribute to the training and development of young talents. My career began in my small hometown in Italy, where for two years I worked as a coach with children in the first kicks championship. I continued my journey in Bologna coaching the children of Murri San Lazzaro in the “Pulcini championship”, in collaboration with the Bologna FC Academy.
I am skilled in planning game strategies and increasing player motivation, maintaining a positive and collaborative environment within the team; I work hard to bring out the best in each player. I believe in the importance of driving children in developing their football skills but also their personal qualities.
I believe collaboration and cooperation within the playing team are fundamental: mutual respect between team members, clear and effective communication with players, management and children's families. These aspects are essentials because they create a healthy and balanced relationship with the working group, and with the children because they promote both their motor and socio-emotional development.
During my tenure as a coach, I have developed and implemented successful strategies and training programs that have resulted in teams consistently reaching their goals. I am committed to providing an environment where players can develop their skills and thrive, while also teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun and engaging manner.

About the lesson

I have a degree and specialization in sports science, I have 15 years of experience as a footballer and 5 years as a coach in Italy. My knowledge allows me to train not only the technique and tactics but also the athletic part of this sport. My lessons will be structured and adapted to every age and type of person. They will be fun and motivating.
