About Jonathan
I am a 60-year-old retired teacher who lives in Maui with my wife and our dog. I play guitar 3-6 hours daily in various styles. I can help a beginner with basic concepts—scales, chords, licks, hand position, picking, etc.—of blues, both acoustic and electric. I have a vast knowledge of the history of the musical form and have seen many of the greats, including Muddy Waters, Albert and BB King, and SRV. My passion combined with my educational experience will allow me to tailor lessons to student needs.
