About Don
Like I already said I loved being a teacher. Over my 51 years as a teacher I have so many great memories. When I see my former students they always give me a lot of praise. I am proud to say I was Sidney Crosby's grade 4 teacher and when he was a rookie he was asked to choose his favorite teacher to do an interview with and he chose me so I was on a 30-minute TV show in Pittsburgh. I know I can help children's learning.

I love teaching children. I would see where the child is at in their learning and talk with them about how they learn and their expectations for me. I want to keep it light and not put added pressure on them. I can adapt to any situation which I am faced with.
