About Darnella

I have been a tutor for ten plus years in New York. Myself and the tuttee set a goal that they will earn A's and B's. I understand that no one is perfect so I allow one "C". The tuttee will learn from mistakes and thereby correct their mistake. I have tutored math to all age groups and I tutor Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics, Computer Math, Nursing Math and Pre Calculus to name a few. One of my jobs was tutoring a college student Statistics via Zoom. The tuttee was an accessibility student. I tutored the tuttee by going by their speed. Our goal was set. We tutored many days and the tuttee passed the class with "A". I asked the tuttee to apply my tutoring process to all their courses and she got all A's and one B. This was during the Pandemic. The tuttee worked hard not to get "C". I believe for Tuttees and tutor, where there is a will there's a way. "Math is money and Money is Math". We deal with it every day and you cannot get away from it, it is in all courses, subjects in life. To do math you must Read the question/equation, Write the question/equation down and use critical thinking to troubleshoot/solve the problem. Do these processes with me and "Math will be fun and easier to understand". I can obtain this 1 on 1 or small groups, Remotely. Tuttees should know that I only want the best for them by helping them troubleshoot their Math problems. Tutoring with me students see that I wear many hats to get them to their goal. If the tuttee is serious about accomplishment that makes me proud of them. I tutored a 75-year-old lady, who spoke little English and more Chinese. I was able to help her pass her math and she used my tutoring method for other classes and obtained A's and B's. She was honored at her graduation. Getting over math fear/block can be done.

About the lesson

My tutoring method: I am Patient, Organized, Positive, and Professional. I tutor at the tuttees speed. I have been referred to as Ms. Countess, like the Count in Sesame Street because I go at your speed, one two. I also keep learning as a Phenomenal Remote Private Math Tutor.

Please have all materials on hand: * Come to the sessions with a positive attitude * On the first session We meet and greet let's us get to know one another, how the process will be * A notebook you would be using for tutoring only * A folder for any reference papers I may send you * A calculator if doing classes - Statistics or Pre Calculus * Phone to take screenshots of work * In case of technological problems be patient go out and come back in Remember no one is perfect and I will work with you to the best of my ability. Lastly, please make sure we exchange the correct email address if you choose to make more appointments for more sessions. ‍
