About Riya
Hi! I am an A-level student taking Maths, Computer Science, Physics and Economics. I LOVE maths and anything to do with STEM.During GCSE's and school in general, I was a student who really struggled with understanding concepts and applying it to questions. But I worked hard and found many tips and techniques that work effectively that even got me a grade 7(A) in GCSE maths. I know how hard maths can be and how frustrating it is, so I will create personalised lessons, meeting the exact needs of the student. Maths is hard and it is ok not to get it but hopefully through my help I can help you gain confidence in it so that you will start loving the subject like how I did. By using many teaching methods I will be creating a space for students to learn and enjoy maths while improving and honing skills for further studies such as GCSE's.

I have always believed that tuition should be a tailored experience for the student so that they get personal help, targeting the areas that need they need help with.
I will be breaking down the syllabus and covering every chapter while filling in any gaps in knowledge they may have.
We will be doing plenty of exam style questions , just to pin point exactly the areas the student needs to work on, so that they will be able to grow in confidence with maths.
Exam question practice is also key to learn how to answer tricky questions that may come up in the exam.
We can do specific chapters the student struggles on and really knuckle it down so that it becomes much easier.
I will explain each bit using different resources to make it fun and engaging but also effective.
