About Akinori

In my teaching I aim to be more than a good instructor in the subjects I teach. I am concerned also with the social and behavioral development of my students as well as with their academic performance. Therefore, when teaching Japanese, for example, I do not merely aim for my learners to acquire Japanese language skills. I also teach them about Japanese culture, history, manners, and communication methods so that they can communicate smoothly with Japanese people. Furthermore, I cultivate the development of their character and their international communication skills. Consistency is key in language learning, so I endeavor to make Japanese lessons as enjoyable as possible. Furthermore, as each student has different learning objectives, I always discuss these thoroughly at the outset before creating a lesson plan. Typically, lessons are structured as a course comprising seven sessions.

Details

My hourly rate can be changed depending on student's aims of learning, level of learning and financial situation etc. The cost of my travel to student's place can also change depending on the distance between my place and student's. My usual lesson length is 1.5 hours, and usually I provide one course that consists of 7 lessons. So usually my student pay the fee of 7 lessons (one course) . But we can discuss this further once students contact me.
