About Ilyas
I am an aspiring software engineering apprentice who is currently in a gap year. I've tutored students from primary school level all the way up to A levels. I achieved grades A* in A level Chemistry and Maths as well as two 9's in combined science GCSE. I have managed classes of up to 12 students and delivered lessons of various lengths, from 60 minutes to 3 hours. My passion relating to tutoring is to inspire currents students with the methodology I used to achieve an A*.

Chemistry A level and GCSE:
Exam practice is the core of my approach as well as teaching from the source being the textbook.
Mini assessments (10 -15 marks) every other week has helped my students regularly consolidate their learning and track progress.
Topic test (30 marks) and Exam paper practice.
I only use videos to explain graphical concepts e.g. Arrhenius equations.
I use savemyexams, exampro, Physics and maths tutor as well as other resources to prepare questions for my lessons.
I have taught students from years 10 - 13 over the last two years.
