Playing at cafes in Montreal after finishing my degree at McGill meant I was always around the language. It feels natural to explain how the cadence of a song maps onto a tricky verb conjugation. Over 13 years of gigging, I have helped many students get ready for interviews or travel.
Most of my work involves breaking down idioms and expressions into tiny pieces. I find that accent and intonation work better when we treat it like a melody. Grammar often gets a bad reputation, but it is just another part of the rhythm.
I have seen hundreds of students grasp writing skills by connecting them to their own personal projects. You will find that I keep things light and focused. My goal is to see you communicating with total comfort in your next conversation. I am here to help you reach that milestone.
