About Hector
Hi, I’m Hector, a current Economics student at the University of Cambridge with a strong academic background and a passion for helping others achieve their full potential. I achieved an 8.1 GCSE average and 4 A*s at A-level in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Economics, and Physics, and have extensive experience with problem-solving and analytical thinking through my participation in the British Maths Olympiad. I also earned a Gold Certificate in the STEMsmart outreach programme run by Cambridge University. Having recently gone through these exams at a high level myself, I understand what it takes to secure top grades, not just mastering content, but also developing clear explanations, effective exam technique, and confidence. My approach focuses on breaking down difficult concepts into simple, intuitive steps, emphasising what is actually important. If you’re aiming for top grades or want to strengthen your understanding, I’d love to help you get there.

The interviews will be designed to challenge you and prepare you for the real thing. Following the interview I will provide feedback and some top tips for success.
