Flo is the reason I got an A* at A-Level Geography and for context I got a D in my mock! Her tutorials were invaluable with no minute wasted. Flo is seriously well versed in exam technique and taught me so many exam tactics - things like how to structure answers, what the examiners are looking for, how long to spend on questions and how to engage with figures/photographs ect. She showed me lots of exemplar high-scoring answers. One of Flo's teaching tactics is her 'SMART' points technique which is an acronym Flo taught me so I could remember the points I needed to be making when answering questions in order to reach the highest marks. Flo was so knowledgable on the exam board and could tell me about answers that her past students had written with what the exam board liked and didn't like. As a student this was invaluable knowledge. Her tutorials actually gave me faith in my work and confidence that I was going to do well in the exams. I looked forward to our sessions together as they were always enjoyable. Flo and I have remained in touch and she kindly gave me advice about University.
