About Nina
In terms of having an actual paid lesson was when I tutored secondary school pupil in summer 2016. It was only for 2 months. But I had always given lessons to my family members and also friends since college directly or indirectly (meaning it could be through messages or even video calls).
The results that my student achieved when I had the paid lessons were them recognizing and understanding the subject in a better depth. Due to the limit of only having to teach for 2 months, and the language barrier that the student struggle due to second language English (although science in Malaysia was taught in English), my focused was more on giving the students a chance in grasping science description and explanation without having any complication in understanding the terms.

I am in my final year of nutrition undergraduate course at Leeds Beckett University.
The techniques and methods that i go through when i make a lesson plan for every student would be to first evaluate their level of understanding in maths. From there, I would guide them and help them in improving what is necessary. In every session I would develop a lesson plan that fits their school requirement but also taking into consideration their level of understanding the subject.
As an experienced tutor before back in my home country, Malaysia, where I had experience teaching one to one session with secondary school pupil, during my summer holiday, I would characterized myself as a patient tutor and friendly tutor. I enjoy creating a fun atmosphere for my students.
