About Sergio Andrés
Back in my country (Colombia), I was studying medicine at the university, but due to life circumstances, I wasn't able to continue. Right now I'm a pharmacy technician student who is doing his best in order to obtain the permanent residency.
I have acquired a background in basic biomedical sciences, ASD and giftedness (not only in the medical part but also in the educational part and similar), among other types of useful skills.
Albeit this has been something informal by that time, there was one occasion in which at my medical school two of my teachers (one a psychiatrist, the other one a geneticist) have asked me if I could help them assessing a thesis for a music student (undergraduate level), his thesis was regarding the applications of sound engineering and music therapy for the treatment of ASD population; and because of my assessment, the main observation done has been that the approach to ASD has been way overdone (in a good sense), without mentioning that it was way beyond the university specifications for a thesis at undergraduate level.

I don't have very static and standardized teaching methods, due to the fact I'm very aware of people's specific needs, background, questions and doubts that can appear during the tutoring process, and especially the way HOW do they learn things. Although regarding methodology, I'm based on methods such as Bloom's Taxonomy, Problem/Project-Based Learning, etc. While time comes for getting proper and formal training, I just can consider my methodology as the use of a bunch of strategies and resources can help a student to understand comprehensively the most as possible. And if needed, I can also help with Spanish classes.
