About Awani
I was born and raised in Mumbai, India. I moved to Canada in 2017 and been living here ever since. I am currently working as a Sales Associate in a Fire Truck manufacturing company.
I am an Aeronautical Engineering with a post graduate diploma in Machine Designing.
Teaching others has always helped me get my concepts clear and gives me a new approach to things. I have been part of online tutoring websites for quite a while now and have always enjoyed the experience.
I have volunteered for many teaching programs for underprivileged kids and young adults in India.

I believe the process of acquiring knowledge can only come through give and take of thoughts between the individuals and hence I like to keep my lessons interactive. Someone can be taught something only if the teacher can maintain their level of interest, once the love of a topic is developed then the learner can grasp easily and be more curious.
I have been taught through conversations and I feel that's very effective in the sense that it helps to develop self understanding, streamlining thoughts, reasoning and application of concepts to daily life examples.
I love interacting with young minds. It's a very big responsibility of shaping someone's views and thoughts and enabling them to make better choices in life and young minds are very fertile. I believe if the seed of pursuit for knowledge is sown at young age then there is no stopping for them.
Hence I would like to tutors kids as young as Grade I to High school - Senior Year. All you young and bright minds out there, it would be a privileged to work with you and for you if you decide to give me a chance! Thank you.
