About Katy
Currently, I am studying for a Master's degree (online) at a Chinese University. I am a UK citizen with a Chinese (Mandarin) background. I speak Chinese everyday at home and I have completed my Mandarin GCSE and A-Level. The lessons will be conducted online. I am able to teach students from beginner to GSCE level. I am a friendly teacher who is keen to teach students Mandarin as it is becoming increasingly important to learn this language. I will always help and challenge my students so they get the most from the lesson. Mandarin is a difficult language to learn but I will make it easier by breaking it down for my students. My teaching method will involve lesson plans to specifically outline what the lessons will involve each week. I will establish what the student is struggling with and work on anything they find difficult to improve their skills. The lessons are aimed at beginners to GCSE level for both Mathematics and Mandarin. I can also teach Economics at A-level.
