About Bethany
Teaching is my passion! I love working with students at all levels and helping them build skills and confidence. I have been teaching fifth grade math in an inclusion setting for 19 years. In my classroom, I have students working at a kindergarten level and students working at an eighth grade level, and every level in between. No matter where you start, I will meet you where you are and build from there.

I am passionate about meeting kids right where they are at and building skills and confidence from there. Many kids struggle with math because they find it overwhelming and lack confidence. Math can be tricky for parents to work on at home, because methods and vocabulary are constantly changing. I love to remove the math anxiety, build the necessary foundational skills, and then step into more complicated mathematics. Everyone learns in different ways, and I will use individual strengths to customize lessons. Math can be fun , and I use lots of games and activities in my lessons.
